Puff Counter FAQ

Yes. Counting puffs, the calendar, the nicotine estimate and the small home screen widget are free. Premium adds the quit plan, detailed statistics and the medium, large and lock screen widgets.

Yes. You can use it without signing in and keep everything on your phone. Signing in with Google or Apple adds a cloud backup that is restored when you sign in on a new phone.

iPhone (iOS 15 or later; widgets need iOS 17) and Android phones (Android 7 or later).

Add the Puff Counter widget. Its plus button logs a puff without opening the app; the count updates on the widget right away.

Premium feature. You choose a start date and a quit date (or a tapering pace); the plan sets a daily puff limit from your own average and lowers it step by step until the quit date, and tells you if the pace looks aggressive, gradual or balanced. You can change it any time.

Yes. Open the day in the calendar and tap the count to add or remove puffs.

Premium is a subscription managed by the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your store subscriptions; it stays active until the end of the paid period.

39 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The app follows your phone's language.

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account and data, then confirm. That removes the cloud backup and the account; data on the phone is deleted with it. It works without an account too.
